Jaydee legendary Dutch house dj/producer Dutch wrestling champion (and multiple sports player) turned into and international megastar. Robin ‘Jaydee’ Albers started DJing in 1978 and went on to produce house anthems including ‘Plastic Dreams’ (1993) number 1 in numerous countries, ‘Fiesta (Sunclub)’ and ‘Summerjam’. Winning the Dutch mixing championships for 5 years running, Jaydee embarked on a successful radio career in 1983, starting the first house music program and later becoming director of ID&T radio (now known as Slam FM). ‘For Those Who Like To Groove’ won Best Dutch Dance Show 3 years running a unique accomplishment for which he received another industry award in 1992. Amongst the globe Jaydee played with all the DJ Stars, Carl Cox, Paul van Dyk, Armin van Buuren, Danny Tenaglia, David Morales, Todd Terry, Mark Knight, Dr. Kucho, Robert Miles , Kevin Saunderson and many more, Jaydee was also the first dj from the western world to play in Moskow in 1992. From the club Jaydee went into the radio, hosting several radioshows, from the radio into television where he hosted several shows , rare thing in this is that Jaydee also hosted a Sportsprogram on television, organized the Dutch Mixingchampionships for 5 years, the first National dj that played house on the national radio, then became producer, radioboss, clubowner, and played in almost every European Country! One time label and club owner and with over three decades of global DJing under his belt, Jaydee is now resident DJ of the Chakra Movement and Club Charlatan in Gent, Belgium and continues to be one of the purest purveyors of house classics and tech house. At this time Jaydee is head A&R of the record label Streamin Music and Jaydee re-injected his former label First Impression for the deep tech stuff. With about 100 gigs a year Jaydee is always on track with either house classics or deeptech. In 2018 new remixes are coming up from the monsterhit Plastic Dreams, and new material is also soon to be released at Armada Music and First Impression.
